🎶Choir🎶
A new music class will be offered on Tuesdays after school from 3:30 - 5:30. It will be a Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble class. You do not have to belong to the school band or choir to join the class. The class will have semester and quarterly offerings. One ensemble will be a Hamilton Musical ensemble with solos and choral singing. Other offerings by quarter will be created with the participants. In addition to vocal and choral students instrumentalists are invited, such as percussion, guitar, piano and other instruments. The first class will begin on Tuesday at 3:30 in the choir room (229). You may join the class in Google Classroom (access code s3ddos2v). Contact Mr. Pope for more information.
🎶The high school choir will rehearse on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 in Room 229. New members are welcome to join us. Contact Mr. Pope for more information.


🐉D&D Club🐉
D&D Club will be starting soon! If you are interested, please join the D&D Google Classroom with the code av2jlkso. A number of groups meet and run campaigns, and you may either join an already-running group or make your own! We meet after school on Fridays from 2:30 - 4:30. If you are curious about the club and may wish to join, please email Mr. Myers at myerst@shcsc.k12.in.us.


❤️‍🩹Clark Co. Health Dept. Event❤️‍🩹
Time is drawing closer to the Clark County Health Department's 4th annual Super Saturday event. It will again be in Ogle Hall Door #8 on the Ivy Tech campus in Sellersburg on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 am - 1 pm. We will again be doing drawings every 15 minutes for door prizes (valued from $25-$100) (must be present to win those) and the grand prize giveaway is a laptop computer and every student who attends the event is eligible for that drawing (no need to be present to win that one).


🔴Senior & Freshman Meetings🟢
Herff Jones will be here on Friday, Sept. 25th and will meet with Seniors from 9:15-9:45 and Freshmen from 10:00 - 10:45 in the auditorium.


✈️SHCSC Travel Club✈️
We still have spots available for the 2027 Germany and Switzerland trip. Requirements for traveling as well as the enrollment link are posted in the SHCSC Travel Group google classroom (join with code ohtabyd). If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Lear or Dr. Mitchell.


💥Students that sign out and return to school need to bring a doctor's note to return that day. Students are NOT permitted to sign out to get food or for reasons other than medical appointments unless approved by administration.💥

Attention Students
Are you in an extracurricular like Sports or Band? If you sign out now and do not have admin approval, you are NOT able to participate in tonight's practice, game or activity. If you sign out and plan to return to school you should have a note to return from doctor, dentist, or other excused appointments. You cannot sign out to go eat or home and return to school, we are a Closed Campus.
