  • Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship will provide one scholarship for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900.00 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any INDIANA public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

This scholarship is open to Harrison County residents who will have graduated by the end of June of the award year with a diploma from a regionally accredited Indiana high school and who have been accepted to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course study at an accredited public or private college or university in Indiana.

Deadline: Sept 30th at 4 p.m.


  • South Harrison Education Association Future Educator Scholarship

The South Harrison Educ. Assoc. is excited to offer two, $300 Future Educator Scholarships to graduating seniors who intend on pursuing a degree in education.  The intent is to award one scholarship at SCHS and one at CCHS.  However, SHEA reserves the right to award two to the same school if there are no applicants at one.  While not a requirement, preference will be given to applicants who have a parent who is a member of SHEA.

  • Richard C. Scott Design Scholarship -$1,000

This scholarship is intended for students in Clark, Harrison, Floyd or Scott Counties in Indiana,  pursuing a degree in Architecture.

  • Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship

This scholarship provides 200 high- achieving high students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500. each year for 4 yrs. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school.  Students interested in applying must have a teacher or counselor complete a nomination form and upload the nomination form in their online application through Scholar track .  See Ms. Rennirt for help.

Application is available on Sept 1.  Deadline: Nov. 30 @ 11:59 p.m


  • INvestED Scholarship Giveaway

INVestEd helps Hoosier families understand college costs and how to fund college with the least debt possible.  They also offer participants a chance to win one of 5 $1,000 scholarships. To enter, go to http://www.investedindiana/1000

  • Wendy’s High School Heisman

Since 1994, the Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship has been recognizing and rewarding senior athletes who excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.  This year, $150,000 will be awarded in college scholarships.      Winning the Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship requires a GPA of 3.0 or better, participation in at least one school-sponsored sport, and demonstration of leadership in the school and community.

  • Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

The Prudential Spirit of Community awards scholarships each year to students for outstanding acts of community service.

  • Hagan Scholarship 

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship for high achieving students who require financial assistance to attend college. Up to 350 scholarships are awarded each year. The scholarship will pay up to $5,000 each semester

Eligibility requirements: 3.5 or higher GPA, 23 or higher on the ACT, or 1,200 or higher on the SAT. Must have worked at least 240 hours in the year prior to starting college and must continue to work during college.  Must complete the FAFSA and show financial need.
